Age Criteria for Admission
Nursery: The child should be 2+ on 30th July of the corresponding year.
LKG: The child should be 3+ on 30th July of the corresponding year.
UKG: The child should be 4+ on 30th July of the corresponding year.
Class I: The child should be 5+ on 30th July of the corresponding year.
Likewise will be the criteria for rest of the higher classes.
Admission Procedure
The Sunbeam follows CBSE (Centeral Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi) Procedure.
Our rules expected to be followed by our students as follows:
- All the students should come clean and tidy in their school uniform. All are obliged to wear the uniform under the penalty of execution from the class.Punctual and regular attendance is insisted upon, if a student is absent due to illness or any other valid reasons, the Principal should be informed about it immediately by a note from the guardian.
- Absence from school prior to a test on Saturdays that are marked as class days will adversely affect the student’s grade in the test.
- If a student continues to be absent without a leave note for more than 10 working days in succession, his/her name will be struck off the register. Re-admission, if granted, will be done on payment of re-admission fee.
- All are expected to attend class on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those absent without prior leave will be fined.
- A student returning to school after suffering from an infection or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate permitting him /her to rejoin class.
- Student cannot be admitted to the school without transfer certificate of the school last attended.
- Admissions are granted from Nursery to XII. Admission is given on the basis of a written test followed by an interview, conducted by the school authorities. However for Nursery and LKG classes mental growth is judged through certain puzzles & equipments.
- A child seeking admission must produce TC or a date of birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation or Gram Panchayat. The school reserves the right of refusing admission without assigning any reason for doing so.
